What is BPSC Competitive:

The BPSC Competitive Youth Soccer Program in San Antonio is designed for those who want to go to the next level in Soccer.

In this program, the players will learn soccer at an advance level and will train a lot more than in Academy programs and will play 100% competitive games frequently.

We develop these players in the following areas: physical, mental, emotional, soccer skills, strategical and tactical.

This program includes:

EXTRA and Specialized Training. (At least double training time as in academy)
Possibility to compite in Competitive Tournaments (Sometimes cost are not included).
Mentoring from our coaches to the player.
Mental and Emotional development.
Specialized sessions to get the most of the player as human being for his/her future life.

This is our elite program so it is required a tryout in order to know if your player is prepared for this kind of competition level. As by phone or contact us to schedule a tryout for your son/daughter.

If the tryout is passed, he/she will be part of our renowned program BPSC COMPETITIVE.

If not, your player can stay in Academy where we will prepare him/her in all aspects to go forward and

We also work on the basic development of important skills similar to those used by some of the best players in the world such as: introduction to sports, fitness habits, leadership, self esteem, brain to muscle connectivity and flexibility. These are some of the most basic rules and soccer habits that every child must learn and understand.

All of this is done in a safe and fun, but this program is VERY DISCIPLINED and of course, ALL based in our soccer methodology TIKI TAKA, learning soccer the right way – the Barça way.

All of our coaches of this program are USSF licensed, some of them have international licenses, are skilled to work with players in this age group. But the most important, ALL OF THEM have REAL Soccer Experience, not just theory.

Everyone that works for BPSC has passed a background check and has gone through an interview process to offer the best experience and the best training for your child and for you as the parent.

At least, one member of the Board is present at all training and game sessions to ensure the best quality of your programs.

Main objective:

Develop All the necessary skills that ONLY the BEST PLAYERS in the world have; in a safe, fun and useful training program. These skills must be acquired at an early age, in order to learn them as we learned to speak English.. in a subconscious way.

Type/Methodology
We have designed our own methodology in order to teach soccer to young players in the U.S. by compiling the best plans, drills, habits and exercises that we have learned outside of the U.S. These methods come from countries where soccer is the most popular sport such as Spain, Mexico and several countries in South America.

We have based our methodology on a form called Tiki Taka, which is a style of play involving highly accurate short passing and an emphasis on retaining possession of the ball.

Call Us for Age Groups information. We have from 7 to 15 years old Competitive programs.
Team Formation

BPSC sets the age brackets according to club rules. Directors will set the number of teams in each age group while considering the following:

– The ideal minimum roster size.

– The number of fully registered players. (Fully Registered means: online registration completed, current on payments and proper documentation submitted: Child’s birth certificate, signed waiver and release forms and signed club policy).

– An even number of teams on the roster, when possible.

All of our programs are CO-ED. If in any age group, U7 and up, there are enough girls, we can open a training for boys and girls separately.
Coaching
All coaches are skilled, licensed and background checked. No parent volunteers.

Coaching focus is on transmitting our Core Values and methodology to children.

Uniform
BPSC has created a partnership with soccer.com for uniform and apparel purchases. Once your child is registered with us, you will receive an email with a direct link to purchase your practice and game day uniforms and apparel.
